An open mill is a mechanical device that has two horizontally arranged rollers for rubber (plastic) mixing between the two rollers, abbreviated as an open mill. It mainly consists of rollers, frames, distance adjustment devices, and transmission devices. The material is pulled into the gap between two opposing rotating rollers at different linear speeds under the action of frictional force.
